BBM 7.0 Now Supports OS 5.0! We are excited to announce that the BBM 7.0.1 beta program has opened and now supports BlackBerry device OS 5.0. Some other changes included in this version include: Faster call setup for BBM Voice sessionsImproved device accessory handling (Bluetooth and headset integration)BBID setup and integration improvements
Check under 'Eligible Programs' to see if BBM 7.0.1 is available in your region and then download and test it out! Let us know what you think!
And just in case you’ve ever wondered, we read all posts and feedback offered by our Beta Zone community members. Because we receive so many great ideas though, we don’t always have the time to respond directly to members regarding their thoughts, but we're always listening.
There are a few different ways for you to offer us feedback and to immerse yourself in the community that is BlackBerry Beta Zone:
Discussion Boards
Check out the discussion boards under ‘Discussions’ found in the Beta Zone user navigation bar. This is your space to get to know each other, bounce ideas around and offer detailed feedback on the Beta Zone community. Feel free to post as many times as you like but it makes it more fun for everyone if you’re constructive in your comments. If you’re new to the site, you might want to have a quick look at the BlackBerry Beta Zone Terms and Conditions of Use just to be sure your post meets the criteria outlined.
Surveys
Every now and again, we’ll post surveys to gather anonymous feedback about how you use various functions or features of the site or your BlackBerry smartphone. To access these surveys, check out the Surveys link in the user navigation bar.
Feedback
Use the Feedback section of the Beta Zone program page to send your feedback regarding the Beta Zone community directly to us. Keep in mind that if your feedback is related to specific Beta program, you’ll want to select that program from the drop down to ensure your feedback is delivered to the right people.We’re looking forward to having you as part of our community and can’t wait to hear what you have to say!
